What Are Curious SOUP Nights?
Curious SOUP Nights are an opportunity to eat, relax, and engage with the wider puppetry community. Each evening includes a talk, film, or demonstration led by practitioners at the forefront of the art form, followed by informal conversations over a shared meal.
The highlight of the night? Making soup together! This communal activity brings attendees closer, blending flavours and ideas as a metaphor for the collaborative spirit of puppetry.
A Rich History of Speakers
Curious SOUP Nights have long celebrated puppetry's past, present, and future, with previous speakers including:
Louise Gold (The Muppets, Dark Crystal)
Andrew Kim (Thingumajig Theatre)
